Heart, GPC, M.Ed.,President of Heart Resources LLC, is an experienced development consultant who produces grant research studies, annual grant plans, concept papers, proposals, budgets, attachments, and reports. She specializes in developing complex projects involving multiple public and private funding resources. She is an enthusiastic grant trainer and has published grant career/business articles and books.

WHAT RESULTS HAVE YOU ACHIEVED? Heart Resources LLC has won grants ranging from $1,000 to $10 million dollars, with an average grant award of nearly $300,000. She works well with agency leaders and staff to craft the best case for support. Quality planning and writing have resulted in awarded grants for: at-risk youth education and workforce development; literacy and STEM activities; historic building renovations; community health clinics and programs; women's health research; capital campaigns for new building construction; infrastructure upgrades; and operating support. WHAT PROJECTS DO SPECIALIZE IN? Katherine enjoys planning complex projects involving multiple public and private funders. She is interested in all types of projects, with the most experience in health and human services, education and training, workforce development, programs to improve opportunities for people with disabilities and disadvantages, and capital projects. She was selected to serve as a 2012-13 SAMHSA Voice Awards Fellow. Katherine is a federal reviewer for behavioral health recovery and traumatic stress initiatives, and is a volunteer judge for annual Recovery Month and Voice Awards Programs of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
