Katherine F.H. Heart, GPC, M.Ed., President and CEO has served the nonprofit sector for over 40 years. She has developed funder research reports, grant proposals, budgets, and related documents for 35+ organizations to win support for programs, capital initiatives, and operations. Heart Resources, LLC specializes in preparing complex project plans and proposals involving multiple funding sources such as foundations, corporations, United Way, and local, state and federal government. Katherine has served as a federal grant reviewer and fellow in public health. She earned the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential, and selection as a GPA Approved Trainer by the Grant Professionals Association. Katherine is Founding President of the GPA-Western PA Chapter in 2012-2014 and 2016. She is the author of Grantepreneur(TM)-The Grant Writer's Career Action Plan, forthcoming from Red Engine Press.
