Katherine F.H. Heart, GPC, M.Ed. has 35+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector as a manager, trainer, and marketer. She has provided technical writing and grant services to numerous organizations since 1998.
Katherine has earned the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential, and was the first individual designated an Approved Trainer by the Grant Professionals Association. She is Founding President of the GPA-Western PA Chapter. Katherine is the author of Grantepreneur(TM): Getting Started in a Grant Career and Business, coming soon from Red Engine Press.
In 2015, Katherine's grant proposals were awarded $5,125,628 for at-risk youth education and workforce development, child and teen literacy and technology programs, public information services at a corrections facility, historic landmark building renovations, and operations. She presented grant seminars to 200 individuals from 104 organizations. Heart Resources, LLC was a business sponsor of the GPA-Western PA Regional Conference, TAZ Conference, and People's Oakland Turtle Team.
