As a GPA Approved Trainer, Katherine presented 11 grant seminars totaling 40 hours of instruction for 200 individuals from 104 regional nonprofit agencies and 46 consultants. Heart Resources, LLC was a corporate sponsor of 3 community events: GPA-Western PA Regional Conference; The Authors Zone (TAZ) Conference; and People's Oakland Turtle Team.
Katherine F.H. Heart, GPC, M.Ed., CEO, has served the nonprofit sector since 1974. For nearly 15 years, she has developed grant proposals, budgets and related documents for 35+ agencies involving funding requests for programs, capital projects, and operations. She also prepares Request for Proposal (RFP) and bid documents. Katherine specializes in complex projects with multiple stakeholders and funders such as: charitable trusts; foundations; corporations; United Way; and local, state and federal government. Services include: grant goals and strategies; program and project development; funder research; proposal writing, editing, reviewing and coaching; grant consulting; and grant training.
